Free Fall Simmer Pot Recipes: 4 Easy Blends to Make Your Florida Home Smell Like Fall
Florida doesn't give us much fall weather, so I make my own fall smell. These are my four favorite simmer pot blends, and most of what you need is probably already in your kitchen. Pick one, put a pot on the stove, and your whole house smells like a candle shop in about 20 minutes.
How to Simmer
- Fill a small pot with 3–4 cups of water and add your ingredients.
- Bring it to a boil, then turn it down to low and let it simmer.
- Add water every 30 minutes, and never leave it unattended.

Simmer tips: a slow cooker on low works too, with the lid cracked. You can keep a batch in the fridge for 2–3 days and reuse it. Want gifts? Bag the dry ingredients with a slice of dried orange and a tag, and you have an easy neighbor gift.
